Rubin Claims First Ever Saint Barnabas Medical Center UTR Men’s Singles Championship

In what turned out to be an extremely successful weekend, filled with high intensity tennis and fun-filled extracurriculars, Long Island’s own Noah Rubin claimed the first place prize with a 6-1, 6-3 victory in the final. With some incredible point play back and forth between the two finalists, Rubin proved to be the more dominant of the two as he sealed his straight set win. In addition to the Men’s Open final, the Men’s 40s final featured some high quality of play of its own, with Martin Bengtsson claiming the title.
